Welcome to the Santa Fe Cares website. As a nonprofit community AIDS foundation, we are accountable to you - those living with HIV/AIDS in northern New Mexico, our donors and the community at large. We invite you to learn more about what we do and how you, too, can become more involved. What is Santa Fe Cares? Founded in 1991, Santa Fe Cares is a community AIDS foundation providing funding for HIV/AIDS services in northern New Mexico. Additionally, Santa Fe Cares provides limited emergency financial assistance to people living with AIDS and strives to increase community awareness and action. What is our mission? The objective of Santa Fe Cares is to elevate community awareness and improve the well-being of individuals in northern New Mexico who are living with HIV/AIDS, by raising funds and distributing them wisely to agencies that offer treatment, care, and prevention services, including those that provide laboratory furniture casework. Where does the money go? Over $3 million has been raised by SFC to provide funding for:

Southwest CARE Center Because the needs of the community are constantly changing, not all of these organizations/programs remain in existence.
